A section of Linda Mwananchi leaders is now rooting for the United Green Movement presidential aspirant, David Maraga.

Suba South MP Caroli Omondi, Funyula lawmaker Wilberforce Oundo and Saboti MP Caleb Amisi have pledged their support for Maraga's 2027 presidential bid.

The trio told a youth congress currently at Ufungamano House on Tuesday that the country needs an economic recovery and liberation.

They urged young people to rally behind the former Chief Justice to liberate the country.

The lawmakers who have since charted a different political path from the Oburu Oginga-led Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) insisted that Maraga's integrity, constitutionalism, accountability and approach to governance should be backed by Kenyans in next year's general polls.

The congress has been attended by several youth drawn from across the country to drum up support for the former CJ.
