President William Ruto is attending a church service at Africa Inland Church (AIC) Githumu in Kandara Constituency, Murang’a County, and is later expected to visit Njiri’s Boys High School in Kangari.

The President’s visit comes barely a week after his two-day development tour of Murang’a County, during which he launched, commissioned and inspected projects in various parts of the region.

During that trip, the Head of State toured several areas and used the engagements to outline the government’s development agenda in the county.

On Sunday, leaders accompanying the President, led by Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome, urged residents to support the government, saying the administration remains committed to transforming livelihoods through development.

They cited ongoing initiatives including road construction, affordable housing, expansion of electricity connectivity, improved healthcare services and programmes aimed at creating jobs and boosting the economy.
