Kenya Police Bullets FC landed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Thursday, ready for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA zonal qualifiers to be played from August 17 to September 4, 2024.

Head coach Beldine Odemba travelled with a squad of 24 players, who include new signings - Harambee Starlets goalkeeper Annedy Kundu, defenders Elizabeth Ochaka and Norah Anne from Vihiga Queens.

Others are midfielders Jane Hato from Mathare United women team and Christine Nafula, and attackers Bertha Omita and Emily Moranga from Vihiga Queens.

Nine teams will compete in the qualification phase. Bullets are placed in Group ‘A’ alongside CBE (Ethiopia), Yei Joint FC (South Sudan), Rayon Sport Women (Rwanda), and debutants Warriors Queens (Zanzibar).

Only one team from the CECAFA region will qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League set for later this year.
