Royal Media Services journalists shine at AJEA 2024

Royal Media Services (RMS) journalists shone during the Annual Journalism Excellence Awards (AJEA) held in Nairobi to celebrate the incredible work done by practitioners in Kenya's media industry.

Among the RMS entities recognized for excellence were Ramogi TV and iNooro TV, as well as the Camera Operations Department.

The glamorous event, held at a Nairobi hotel on Friday night, awarded winners in broadcast, print and digital platform categories.

The RMS winners included Millicent Nyaboma (Ramogi TV), Jeff Obonyo (Ramogi TV), Waweru wa Nyambura (iNooro TV) and Alfred Cheruiyot, a videographer who won an award in the ‘Development and Public Affairs Reporting Broadcast Television Category.

The speakers during the event emphasized on the mandate of journalists taking part in making sure the sustainability of Africa is in a good state amidst the global crises faced such as climate change.
