This means, in Nairobi, a litre of super petrol will continue retailing at Ksh.184.52, while diesel will sell at Ksh.171.47 and Kerosene at Ksh.154.78.
In Mombasa, the cost will remain at Ksh.181.24, Ksh.168.19 and Ksh151.49 for super petrol, diesel and kerosene, respectively.
"The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020," EPRA stated.
EPRA indicated that the purpose of price regulations is to cap the retail prices of petroleum products which are already in the country to ensure reasonable prices to consumers.
According to the EPRA statement, the average landed cost of imported Super Petrol declined by 4.25 per cent, falling from US$619.14 per cubic metre in October 2025 to US$592.84 per cubic metre in November 2025.
In contrast, the landed cost of Diesel rose by 3.02 per cent, increasing from US$635.05 per cubic metre to US$654.24 per cubic metre over the same period.
