The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has advised motorists to collect their physical logbooks within the next four months.

“It is 4 months to the deadline, and we urge all motor vehicle owners who still have their logbooks at NTSA offices to collect them as soon as possible to avoid any inconveniences,” NTSA said in a statement on Tuesday.

The authority further informed that the collection process is free, indicating that one should have the previous logbook and their identification document in order to be verified.

In May 2026, NTSA announced that it would phase out printed physical logbooks, replacing them with e-Logbooks as of June 10, 2026.

NTSA also said that the e-logbooks will be uploaded to the NTSA portals, which keep the vehicle record information.

Additionally, NTSA mentioned that the e-logbooks have been systemized digitally for their information safety, avoiding any errors in delay and forgery through paper documentation.
