Nyaberi’s charges are coming off a 1-1 draw against Kibera, a result the tactician believes should serve as a wake-up call ahead of their upcoming fixture.
"We are remaining with nine matches and you cannot tell what might happen in between. For us, we are taking each match as a final until the end of the season," he said.
With just nine matches left before the curtain falls on the league campaign, Nyaberi emphasized the need for consistency and sharp focus from his players. He expressed confidence in the squad’s overall condition, noting that morale remains high despite a few injury concerns.
The coach revealed that Brian Marvin is still sidelined with an injury but is expected to make his return to action next week, providing a timely boost as the team pushes for a strong finish.
Nyaberi will also be seeking to maintain his impressive record against Mwatate United, targeting a third straight win against the side. In their last encounter, Fortune Sacco secured a convincing 3-1 victory, a result he hopes to replicate.
However, the coach has warned against underestimating their opponents, pointing out that Mwatate United’s fight against relegation makes them a dangerous side.
"I have faced Mwatate twice and won by a similar margin of 3-1, so I am not underrating them, but we have prepared for it and we treat the fixture as a final too." Nyaberi added.
Currently sitting sixth on the league table with 50 points, Fortune Sacco will be keen to capitalize on home advantage and strengthen their position as the competition heads into its final stretch.
