The 27-year-old chef, on Monday morning, smashed the 87 hours 45 minutes record set by now-former Guinness World Record holder, Lata Tondon.
A spirited Hilda launched into the competition on Thursday at exactly 4 pm when she put on her cooker - and went on to cook hundreds of meals and serve thousands of customers over a historic four-day marathon.
Despite already having broken the record, Hilda is still carrying on as she aims to cook for 96 hours (9 hours more than she had initially planned) setting a new world record as the first human on earth to spend such a staggering amount of time cooking.
For over 88 hours, a sprightly Hilda cooked on, only taking a 30-minute break and then carrying on with her goal - all while standing and taking no sleep.
All the while, the popular restauranteur has continued to receive a wave of support from Nigerian government officials, tons of celebrities, clerics, and other well-meaning Nigerians many of whom trooped to the Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos where she has been cooking from to show support.
In the wee hours of Monday morning, hundreds of supporters braved a heavy downpour just to watch her cook and egg her on, unbothered.
Notable celebrities such as Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Charles Okocha, Tiwa Savage all stormed the cooking venue in Lagos to show their support and cheer Hilda more.
On Twitter, Burna Boy shared her photo, tweeting, "Go Hilda. We are rooting for you to break that record. And I trust say the food go sweet die!"
