NCIC summons Didmus Barasa over ‘dismiss Kikuyu job seekers’ remarks

This follows an investigation by the commission into utterances made by the MP in Sirisia Constituency in Bungoma County on September 19, 2026, where he suggested that leaders from his community should use their positions to benefit their own.

The MP further said that they should hire people from western constituencies and reject applications from other ethnic communities.
