Nairobi is set to host the 26th edition of MEDEXPO Kenya 2026, bringing together global healthcare players at a time when demand for advanced medical services and technologies continues to rise across Kenya and the wider East African region.
The three-day
exhibition, running from April 22 to 24 at the Sarit Expo Centre, comes as the
country faces increasing pressure on healthcare systems driven by population
growth, urbanisation, and a growing burden of non-communicable diseases.
Principal
Secretary for Medical Services Dr. Ouma Oluga is set to officiate the
opening, with Regina Akoth Ombam attending as guest of honour, underscoring the
government’s focus on strengthening healthcare delivery and investment.
The expo has
attracted exhibitors from across the globe, including India, Turkey, Pakistan,
China, and Italy, showcasing innovations in diagnostics, surgical equipment,
pharmaceuticals, and advanced biomaterials. Industry players say such platforms
are critical in bridging gaps in access to modern healthcare technologies.
With Kenya’s
demand for specialised treatment and diagnostic services growing, the
exhibition provides an opportunity for hospitals, suppliers, and investors to
forge partnerships, secure supply chains, and explore new solutions to improve
service delivery.
Backed by key
industry associations, MEDEXPO Kenya 2026 is expected to catalyse investment
and accelerate the adoption of modern healthcare systems, positioning Nairobi
as a regional hub for medical innovation and trade.
