Scheduled for June 3–5, 2026, the event will bring together global automotive manufacturers, spare-parts suppliers, technology firms, transport operators, and mobility innovators in Nairobi, placing Kenya at the center of a rapidly evolving regional automotive industry.
According to organizers, exhibitors from more than 30 countries and thousands of trade visitors are expected to attend the three-day showcase.
“The exhibition attracts exhibitors from more than 20 countries and visitors from across East and Central Africa, showcasing advanced industrial technologies including machine tools, industrial automation, robotics, welding equipment, hydraulics, plastics machinery, manufacturing technologies, and engineering solutions,” the organisers said in a statement.
The exhibition comes at a pivotal moment for Kenya’s economy. Rising vehicle ownership, expanding infrastructure investments, growing demand for commercial transport, and increasing interest in electric mobility are creating new opportunities across the automotive value chain.
Industry players view Kenya not only as a consumer market but also as a strategic gateway into the wider East and Central African region.
AUTOEXPO Kenya has evolved into one of Africa’s most influential automotive trade platforms, connecting international manufacturers with distributors, fleet operators, retailers, and government stakeholders.
The exhibition will feature automobiles, commercial vehicles, spare parts, batteries, lubricants, garage equipment, automotive technologies, and emerging electric vehicle solutions.
The international trade exhibition on automotive, spare parts and accessories will run alongside three major co-located events — EV EXPO KENYA 2026, the 26th INDUSMACH KENYA 2026 and the 6th TOOLS & HARDWARE KENYA 2026 — creating one of the region’s largest business and technology exhibition platforms.
Organizers say the event will showcase more than 10,000 products and attract over 5,500 professional trade visitors, highlighting the growing appetite for automotive investment across the continent.
The exhibition is also expected to generate new business partnerships, distribution agreements, and technology-transfer opportunities for Kenyan firms seeking to scale their operations.
The growing prominence of Kenya as a regional automotive destination reflects broader economic trends.
Nairobi continues to attract multinational companies seeking access to East Africa’s expanding consumer base, while improvements in logistics networks, infrastructure development, and digital commerce are strengthening the country’s competitiveness as a regional trade hub.
Industry players believe the 27th AUTOEXPO Kenya could serve as a launchpad for next-generation mobility solutions, particularly in electric vehicles, smart transport technologies, and sustainable automotive systems.
The event is expected to provide a critical platform for manufacturers looking to establish a foothold in one of Africa’s fastest-growing markets.
As global automotive companies intensify their search for growth opportunities beyond traditional markets, Kenya is increasingly emerging as a strategic destination. The 27th AUTOEXPO Kenya is poised to underline that reality, showcasing the country’s ambition to become a regional powerhouse for automotive trade, innovation, and investment.
With international participation expected at record levels, the exhibition is set to deliver a strong signal that Kenya remains open for business and determined to drive the future of mobility in Africa.
