In a statement she posted on Instagram, Mukami confirmed that she has been contemplating her decision for the past year and a half, when the celebrity couple has been facing relationship challenges.
"This has not been an easy tourney for either of us, especially because we were not only partners in life but also parents to young children who mean the world to us," she stated.
The "Maombi" hitmaker added that the transition has caused her excessive emotional and mental damage, disrupting her motherhood.
"Balancing motherhood, healing work, and public life while vying to remain strong for my children has been one of the hardest experiences I have faced," she added.
Mukami revealed that balancing her relationship hardships, a demanding career and new motherhood burdens pushed her to the edge, forcing her to call it quits on their partnership.
"Being a lady who always wanted family I fought so hard but I guess I lost. Batting postpartum, a new baby, a failed relationship, a toddler, public image, business and career should be added to a million ways to die", said Nadia.
Nadia further revealed that they have decided to continue co-parenting to support their children and their needs.
"We remain committed to co-parenting with love, respect and maturity for the sake of our children's well-being and future. They deserve peace, stability and unconditional love from both parents," she said.
The two got engaged in 2022 and have collaborated in making hit songs among them "Mi Nawe" and "Radio Love".
Arrow boy has remained tight-lipped on the matter at time of publishing.
