Police got a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Shabana FC at Gusii Stadium over the weekend, sealing their place in the last four, and Muyoti was clear about his ambition and mindset heading into the decisive stages of the competition.
“The teams that have remained in this tournament are good, but our immediate focus is the semi-final against Bandari FC.
"Our focus is to beat Bandari and qualify for the final because they have also eliminated a tough team, Mfalme FC, which did well against big names in previous rounds.
"The win against Shabana shows our intention to lift the title,” said Muyoti.
He reinforced the same message of belief and ambition, mentioning his CAPTAIN Aboud Omar and stressing the value of experience in knockout football.
"I can also praise Aboud Omar as a captain for the way he organizes his teammates and the way he takes his free kicks.
"But in general, my boys know the meaning of lifting this tournament. We must work extra hard.
"Playing at the continental level is a good opportunity for players and coaches to market themselves,” he noted.
Muyoti has admitted that the FKF Premier League title is now out of reach for his side, shifting full attention to cup success.
The semi-finals will test discipline, experience, and execution as Police FC faces Bandari FC, while KCB will take on Tusker in high-stake clashes on May 16.
