Mind your business, Marwa tells Mombasa MCAs

Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa has called on Members of the County Assembly of Mombasa to be keen on their duties and stop engaging in matters that do not concern them.

Marwa was speaking after several MCAs opposed the plans to move the residents living near the Airport in an attempt to enhance security in the area.

He said the plans were discussed by the security committee with the aim of improving the security of the residents, adding that any person moved will be compensated as per country regulations.

His sentiments were echoed by Kongowea MCA Jabess Oduor, who urged his colleagues to allow Marwa and his team to execute their plans without interference.

The MCAs had opposed the displacement of people living near the airport saying they had not been informed of such plans.
