Man dies by suspected suicide after 'fight' with wife

The body was identified as that of Patrick Tito who went missing on Saturday last week.

Ikangavya Area Chief Stella Nthiwa confirmed the incident.

“Tito left home in a huff moments after allegedly assaulting his wife,” she said.

According to the parents, their son had told them that he won’t be coming back home, before heading into the heart of the forest.

The family thought he was pulling a bluff on them, only to later find his dead body.

Residents believe that the deceased may have died by suicide. Police are investigating the incident to ascertain what may have transpired.

The body of the deceased was taken to Makueni Referral hospital morgue.

The Chief has urged residents to seek advise whenever they are faced with difficulties in life, instead of resorting to death by suicide.
