Man, 30, arrested for defiling 6-year-old daughter

A 30-year-old man from Kapkwenio village in Tinderet, Nandi County, was on Thursday arrested after allegedly defiling his 6-year-old daughter.
Confirming the arrest, Tinderet police boss Esther Oyugi Adhiambo said Erick Kiplangat was nabbed in his Chepseon hide-out in Kericho.
Ms. Oyugi added that the father of two is presently being held at Songhor Police Station pending further investigations and will be arraigned in court later on.
According to the Deputy County Commissioner, the victim is also still undergoing medical tests.
