Makueni: Man kills wife, takes own life over domestic dispute

A man has killed his wife by stabbing her before taking his own life by hanging in the Kyamukwa area of Kalawa, Mbooni East in Makueni County.
Mbooni East Police Commander Iphrahim Karani confirmed the incident, noting that the couple had been experiencing domestic disputes.
He urged couples to seek peaceful and appropriate avenues for resolving family conflicts.
The bodies of the two have been taken to the Kalawa Hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
The incident comes at a time when the country is marking the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
