Kisumu: Man’s ear chopped off during scuffle in Nyando

Police in Nyando, Kisumu County, are pursuing a suspect accused of cutting off a man’s ear following a confrontation at Riat Market in Kochogo.

Kochogo Location Chief Alfred Ondola says the suspect, who is known to the victim, drew a knife during a scuffle and cut the victim.

The victim, identified only as ‘Daddy’, was left lying on the ground as the suspect fled the scene.

The injured man was rushed to hospital by well-wishers for treatment.

The incident has been reported to police, who are pursuing the suspect.
