“Our four-ball plays morning golf on Mondays, Wednesdays and sometimes Saturdays. When choosing the team, we were looking for long-hitters, good-iron players, and great-putter Wallace Mwaura. What we will continue doing is what we do best – playing together, looking at our strengths and working on our weaknesses,” an ecstatic Kinyanjui said after the victory.

“With KCB’s regional reach, it would be amazing to host the grand finale in Rwanda, Uganda or Tanzania – something different because we have seen all the courses in Kenya. Kenya has grown tremendously in the last five years in terms of golf and we would like to see the same growth exhibited in other countries,” added Kinyanjui.

Kelvin Wangongu was awarded the longest drive award in the men’s category while Laureen Gibson clinched it in the women’s category. Handicap 18 Willy Metto returned 39 points to win the guest winner award.
