Khalwale’s wife, Gloria, laid to rest in Kakamega

Hundreds of mourners and leaders from across the country gathered at Malinya Grounds in Ikolomani Constituency, Kakamega County, on Friday for the funeral of Gloria Khalwale, the wife of Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.
Among the leaders in attendance are Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, Bumula MP Jack Wamboka and Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga, among other political leaders.
The funeral service is being conducted by the Catholic Church, with family, friends, political leaders and residents gathered to pay their final respects.
Gloria died suddenly after a heart attack on August 15.
