Kenya Pipeline into Round of 16 at African Club Championship

Kenya Pipeline has earned a round of 16 slot after registering their third consecutive win of the preliminary matches at the 2026 CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship.
KPC Volleyball Team made three straight victories, brushing aside the Democratic Republic of Congo’s VC La Loi (VCL) in straight sets (25-12, 25-12, 25-17) at the 2026 CAVB Women’s African Club Championship in Cairo.
From the opening serve, the Kenyan giants established a rhythm that the Congolese side struggled to break.
KPC utilized their superior height at the net and a relentless service game to take the first two sets with identical 25-12 scorelines.
VCL found it difficult to organize their reception, often leaving their attackers facing a well-set triple block.
In the third set, VC La Loi showed flashes of resilience, finding gaps in the KPC defense to keep the scores respectable midway through the frame.
However, the Oilers proved decisive. KPC tightened their floor defense and executed a series of powerful cross-court spikes to pull away, closing the set 25-17.
In other matches DCI spanked KCCA, Uganda (25-20,25-20,25-16) while KCB got their 2026 African Club Championship campaign off to a commanding start with a straight-sets victory over Nigeria’s Vipers and Partners.
The Bankers secured a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-19, 25-19) in their opening Group D fixture played at the Al Ahly Sports Club Complex in Gezira.
