Kenya Junior Baseball5 team thrash Lesotho, South Africa ahead of Youth Olympics

The Kenyan side began its campaign with a dominant straight-sets win over Lesotho, taking the first set 26–2 before completing the rout with a 9–0 second-set win.

Kenya carried the momentum into its second match, thrashing South Africa 19–0 to underline its dominance and boost its confidence ahead of the upcoming international assignment.

The team was invited to participate in the championship, which serves as a crucial test as players fine-tune their preparations for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, scheduled to take place in Senegal later this month.

Kenya and Senegal will represent Africa at the Games, with the Kenyan team seeking to build on its impressive performance in Botswana as it prepares to compete against some of the world's best young players.
