'Kazi yetu ni kufukuza Ruto': Ndindi Nyoro calls for united opposition ahead of 2027 elections

People’s Party of Kenya (PPK) leader Ndindi Nyoro is calling for a united opposition ahead of the 2027 General Election, urging leaders to set aside their differences and rally behind a single presidential candidate.

Speaking at a rally in Gilgil, Nakuru County, Nyoro said a divided opposition would weaken its chances of winning the presidency.

“Nauliza wote wa upinzani tutoe mmoja wetu kwa upinzani ndio tumpeleke nyumbani bila run off. Kazi yetu ni mbili kufukuza Ruto na kutengeneza uchumi wa wakenya tuache malumbano ya ndani ndani," said Nyoro.

He also criticised the Kenya Kwanza administration over what he termed as its failure to address the country’s economic challenges.

Nyoro further took issue with President William Ruto’s repeated attacks on former President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying leaders should instead focus on resolving issues affecting ordinary Kenyans.
