Kabete: Mother and her 3 children die in house inferno

Four family members perished after their mabati house in Kabocha village, Nyathuna, Kabete constituency in Kiambu County, caught fire in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
The four are a mother, Perish Njeri, 40, her daughter, Susan, 22, and her two sons, Mark Njuguna, 15, and Edward Mbugua, 10
According to a neighbor, he heard a blast around one in the morning.
It was established that the blast emanated from Njeri's three-roomed mabati house, however, damage had already been done by the time the neighbors arrived to help.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
