Kenya has been drawn in Group C of the CAF U-17
Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) CECAFA qualifiers following the draw held on
Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Kigali, Rwanda.
The regional qualifiers are scheduled to
take place in Kigali, Rwanda from October 10 to 19th, 2026.
The Junior Stars will compete in Group C
alongside Djibouti and Tanzania
The top team from every group will
advance to the semi-final stage alongside the best second-placed team across
the three groups.
The best two teams at the Zonal qualifier
will represent the CECAFA Zone at the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)
2027.
In Group A, hosts Rwanda will face Sudan, Somalia and South Sudan while Group B features Uganda, Ethiopia and Rwanda.
