"Sometimes I have heartburn and get bloated and have to sleep on my left side to prevent acidity," she said during an interview on the Lyn Ngugi show.

"It's like pregnancy all over again.. but I'm not pregnant... I also burp a lot," she added.

The symptoms such as heartburn, needing to sleep on the left side and bloating, are common among pregnant women.

The gastric balloon is a procedure that has been a frenzy among several celebrities and involves a soft, smooth, durable balloon made of silicone rubber being placed in the stomach to reduce its capacity and help one feel full with less food, according to John Hopkins University.

The procedure is supposed to instil discipline of eating less and those who undergo it can only eat smaller meals more regularly.
