Internet disrupted in north Ethiopia amid conflict

The internet has been disrupted in northern Ethiopia, online monitor Netblocks said Friday, and AFP confirmed connection difficulties as conflict raged between the federal government and Tigray rebels.
"Network data indicate a subnational internet disruption in northern Ethiopia corresponding to reports of a telecoms blackout in Tigray," Netblocks said on X.
