Justice Mutai also stayed all further proceedings in the criminal case, as well as any other criminal proceedings arising from the investigations being challenged by the bank and Muriuki.

The court orders remain in force pending the inter partes hearing of the application, meaning the respondents and interested parties will have an opportunity to respond to the allegations raised by the applicants.
