Hermosa Paints has partnered with the Kamba Festival as the event’s Main Sponsor, supporting a platform that will bring together artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and the wider community to celebrate Kamba culture.

The festival will showcase Kamba heritage through music, dance, art, fashion, food and entertainment, while providing young creatives with an opportunity to display their work and connect with audiences.

Hermosa Paints PR Manager Nancy Kang’anya said the partnership was aimed at supporting young people who are finding new ways to express and preserve their cultural heritage.

“Culture gives us identity, while creativity gives young people a voice. At Hermosa Paints, we believe young people should not only inherit culture but also have the opportunity to shape how it evolves,” she said.

The festival comes as younger generations increasingly use digital platforms, contemporary music, fashion and other creative forms to engage with traditional culture.

Organisers say the event will provide opportunities for people working in areas such as music, photography, videography, fashion, design, content creation, food and event production.

“When young people have platforms to showcase their skills, build networks and connect with audiences, creativity can become a pathway to opportunity,” Kang’anya added.

The partnership will see Hermosa Paints support the festival as it brings together members of the Kamba community and creatives to celebrate cultural identity and talent.

The event is also expected to provide a platform for contemporary interpretations of Kamba heritage, allowing young people to combine traditional cultural expressions with modern creative forms.
