In a press release issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Gender, Culture and Children Services, through the State Department for Children Services, confirmed that the funds are now available for withdrawal through the contracted Payment Service Provider. Each household received KSh 2,000 per cycle, with the disbursement having commenced on Friday, July 31.
The Ministry has urged beneficiaries who are yet to collect their payments to first confirm receipt of the official payment notification from their Payment Service Provider before proceeding to a payment agent, in order to avoid complications.
Households facing challenges with their payments have been advised to seek help either by visiting the nearest Sub-County, County or Regional Children's Office, or by calling the toll-free line 1533.
The State Department further indicated that preparations for the July 2026 payment cycle are already at an advanced stage, with beneficiaries set to be notified once that disbursement is ready.
Principal Secretary for the State Department for Children Services, CPA Carren Ageng'o, reaffirmed the Government's commitment to timely social assistance for vulnerable households, noting that the programme continues to strengthen household resilience while enhancing access to education, healthcare, nutrition and child protection.
