Governor Nassir confident his record would earn him favour in 2027 polls

Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir has expressed confidence that the work undertaken by his administration will earn him the trust of residents heading into the 2027 General Election.

Speaking in Junda, Nassir said his focus remains firmly on delivering tangible results that improve the lives of Mombasa residents, noting that the progress made across key sectors is visible for all to see.

The Governor highlighted ongoing collaboration with the national government to accelerate the issuance of title deeds, describing land ownership as a critical pillar of economic empowerment and social stability.

He further underscored his administration’s sustained investments in healthcare and education, saying the two sectors remain central to the wellbeing and future prosperity of Mombasa’s people.

“Our responsibility is to deliver. The record speaks through the projects we have implemented, the services we have improved, and the opportunities we continue to create for our residents,” Nassir said.
