GolfTech Academy opens its doors in Nairobi, promises sport thrill

Golf enthusiasts and professionals alike have a reason to be upbeat for the future of the sport after GolfTech Academy, a cutting-edge golf technology studio, opened its doors in Nairobi at the weekend.

The state-of-the-art studio, aims to revolutionise the sport through golf technology, club services and modern training accessible to golfers across Nairobi.

Founder Winnie Wangari Ngethe, said the academy is “more than a just a studio” as it accords golfers at every level, to redefine how golf is learned.

The launch, she added, will help expand golfers’ access to the sports modern technology and nurturing a new generation of golfers in Kenya.

Golf is one of the sport considered elitist and beyond the reach of many in Kenya, largely due to the cost involved.
