3K FC goalkeeper Emmanuel Kulwa is confident the club is on the right path to securing promotion to the Kenyan Premier League as the National Super League season heads into the final bend.

‎The shot-stopper spoke after his starring role in 3K FC’s hard-fought 2-1 victory over Fortune Sacco in the highly anticipated Mountain Derby at the weekend. Kulwa produced a standout performance in goal, making several important saves that helped his side collect all three points in the intense encounter.

‎The victory further strengthened 3K FC’s position in the promotion race and kept alive their hopes of earning a place in the top flight next season.

The club currently occupies second place with 65 points, level with Mombasa United but ahead on goal difference. They are also just three points behind league leaders Migori Youth in what is shaping up to be a thrilling battle for promotion.

‎ ‎"Every player has a goal of taking his team from one level to another, no one wants to remain stagnated," Kulwa said.

‎According to the goalkeeper, the players understand the importance of maintaining consistency in the remaining fixtures, especially with only six matches left before the campaign concludes. He noted that every game will be treated like a final as the team pushes to finish strongly.

‎Kulwa also expressed happiness at being part of the 3K FC first team, saying the environment within the squad has motivated him to continue improving his performances.

‎"It is teamwork, I got the chance to represent other goalkeepers and I am happy I did well, it is not me to decide my performance, but the fans," he added.

He praised his fellow goalkeepers for their teamwork and support, adding that healthy competition within the department has played a key role in raising standards at the club.

‎The goalkeeper further took time to appreciate the club’s supporters, thanking them for the encouragement they have continued to show the players throughout the season. He said the fans’ support after the derby victory against Fortune Sacco gave the squad extra layer of motivation heading into the decisive stage of the season.
