 The Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025 powered by ADNOC reached the halfway point with on Saturday with stiff competition across various disciplines at the ADNEC Centre.

As the six-day event rolls on, the quarterfinals have been set for several sports, and fans witnessed the crowning of Fierce Roc as the Battle of Robots champion.

The third day of the Games introduced the crowd to Phygital Shooter.CS 2, combining Counter Strike 2 and physical laser tag for a test of precision, strategy, and endurance.

Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov of xGoat was confident as his team secured a 2-1 win in their opening match.

The Battle of Robots heated up with dramatic action, as Fierce Roc’s Deep-Sea Shark triumphed in an intense final, defeating Team Cobalt’s robot with devastating precision to claim victory and a share of the $400,000 prize pool.

Yuchen Luo, captain of Fierce Roc, expressed pride in overcoming the challenges of earlier rounds and executing a perfect strategy.

In Phygital Basketball, PBC Astana advanced to the quarterfinals with a 39-26 victory over Derventa Esports Umbrella, while GREAT TEAM BRAZIL dominated their opponents, UzBig Team, 37-21.

The Games continue through December 23, showcasing over 850 participants from 60 countries across 11 disciplines.

The event combines the excitement of live sport with cutting-edge digital gameplay, offering a glimpse into the future of competitive sports.
