France 3x3 coach to lead high-performance camp in Kenya

According to a statement released by KBF on Tuesday, the programme has been organised in collaboration with FIBA as part of efforts to strengthen Kenya's technical capacity and enhance the country's long-term basketball development objectives.

Souchu, widely regarded as one of the leading figures in international 3x3 basketball, is expected to share expertise gained from one of the world's most successful 3x3 programmes.

His sessions will focus on athlete preparation, coach education, and the transfer of modern high-performance methodologies.

The camp comes at a crucial period for Kenya as the country prepares for the FIBA Women's Series and other upcoming continental competitions, while also building towards future major events including the Commonwealth Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

KBF said the initiative underscores its commitment to creating world-class development opportunities for Kenyan players, coaches, and officials through international partnerships and knowledge exchange.

The federation also acknowledged the support of FIBA, the French basketball community, the National Olympic Committee of Kenya, the Government of Kenya, and other stakeholders contributing to the growth of basketball in the country.

KBF Secretary General Angela Luchivya said the federation's goal is to build competitive national teams capable of consistently succeeding at the highest level.
