Detectives have arrested another suspect following the deadly chaos that erupted on Saturday, 12, September 2026, during a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) delegates’ meeting in Embu.

The unnamed suspect was arrested on September 14, 2026, in the Kithimu area of Embu town during a coordinated operation by detectives from the DCI Headquarters Operations Support Team (OAT) and the Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Branch (CRIB).

His arrest brings the total number of suspects arrested in the issue to three, as two more suspects were arrested on Saturday.

This comes as detectives intensify efforts to identify and apprehend suspects believed to have participated in the violence.

DCI has assured that those who participated in the violence, regardless of their motive or affiliation, will be identified and apprehended.
