Coach Mugabe insists KPA ‘still building’ despite Moischers win

The Dockers controlled the contest from start to finish to register one of their biggest wins of the season, but Mugabe maintained that the team is far from the finished product.

"I'm happy with the progress we're making. We're not getting carried away—we're still working to improve the areas where we fell short. Today, the team followed the game plan well and executed it effectively, but we're still building.

"There are many aspects we need to improve if we want to reach the top. We'll keep pushing and continue working hard," said Mugabe.

The victory saw the Mombasa-based side improve to 28 points from 15 matches, having won 13 and lost only two.

KPA remain second in the league standings, six points behind league leaders and defending champions Nairobi City Thunder, as they continue their pursuit of the top spot.

On their part, Moischers are second last with 19 points after playing 15 matches, winning four and losing 11 matches.
