Parents of students at BuruBuru Girls High School will pay for damages incurred on the institution's premises following a fire that occurred on last Sunday.
In a notice, the school's administration told the students to report back on Monday and Tuesday next week in the company of their parents with Ksh. 1,500 to cater for the damages.
"Form 3 and 4 to report on Monday 8th at 9:00 AM and Form 1 and 2 on Tuesday 9th at 9:00 AM," the notice from the school read in part.
Parents are also expected to clear their childrens' fees before they can be allowed back into the institution.
The school's administration has similarly outlawed body sprays, sanitizers, spirits, jewelry, and beadworks of any kind on its grounds.
Vehicles will also not be allowed into the school when the students report back.
