Bungoma: Security guard hacked to death in Kimaeti

A sombre mood has swept through Kimaeti market in Bungoma County following the brutal killing of a security guard.
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased was hacked to death on Monday night.
Police identified the deceased as Changalwa Nabiswa, a resident in the area.
“Changalwa was working as a guard at the local shopping centre when the incident happened,” police said.
His family said they got wind of the tragic event in the wee hours of the morning.
“We received news that our kin was killed by unknown assailants this morning. He was guarding one of the shops at the centre,” a relative said.
They rushed to a nearby health facility where they found their kin dead.
