Bhang worth Ksh.70,000 nabbed in Kwale county

Several rolls of bhang worth Ksh.70,000 were seized in Kwale County on Tuesday.
Matuga County OCPD Patrick Oduma said officers acted on a tip off and arrested one man who was found with over 300 rolls.
“The man was found at a house in Mbuguni, Matuga Sub County and we believe the bhang was on transit but was temporarily stored at the residence. Investigations are underway to establish if others were involved,” he said.
It is said that the bhang could have entered the country from America, the police boss added.
The suspect is to remain in police custody pending arraignment.
