According to the club’s team manager Albert Ogari, the Mbaraki-based club has re-signed goalkeeper Joseph Okoth from KCB and Ugandan defender Rodgers Aloro from league champions Tusker .

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Ogari said they are aiming to complete four more signings (all Kenyans) before their opening fixture against Mathare United on Saturday.

“We have goalkeeper Okoth back and Aloro from Tusker and the other ones will be unveiled in the course of the week,” said Ogari.

Other players rumoured to be on their way to the dockyard are Said Tsuma whose contract with AFC Leopards elapsed and Jaffery Odenyi who was also released by Tusker as well as free-agent Whyvonne Isuza.

Bandari, who were camping in Ngong, played three friendly matches as part of their preparations, winning 8-1 against Vapor, drew 2-2 against Kariobangi Sharks before losing 1-0 to KCB, Ogari adding that they picked vital lessons.

They dockers will resume their training at Mbaraki Sports Club on Tuesday morning with head coach Andre Casa Mbungo set to decide whether another warm-up match is needed.

Bandari will kick-start the season against Mathare at home and then travel away to Bidco United after the October international break.
