Heri Heights Hotel Apartments is marking one year since joining the SureStay Collection by Best Western, becoming the first property in Africa to operate under the brand.
The affiliation brought Heri Heights into Best Western
Hotels & Resorts’ global network, aligning the Nairobi-based serviced
apartments with the SureStay Collection’s focus on value-driven accommodation
in the economy-to-midscale segment, including extended-stay offerings.
According to Samantha Muna, Managing Director for Business
Development at Trianum Hospitality Management, which operates the property,
brand affiliation has strengthened the hotel’s operational framework and market
positioning.
“Operating under an established brand provides credibility
and access to a large support network with a proven business model, including
operational, marketing, and revenue optimisation support,” Muna said.
She added that Heri Heights has sought to maintain its
identity while meeting international brand standards. “What makes Heri Heights
distinct is the balance between comfort, green space, and proximity to the
city. As we mark our first year as a SureStay property, our focus remains on
delivering relaxed and well-managed stays.”
Located on 2.5 acres of landscaped gardens off Arboretum
Road, Heri Heights offers a quieter setting within close reach of Nairobi’s
major commercial, diplomatic, and leisure areas, including Westlands,
Riverside, Upper Hill, and Kilimani. The property consists of self-catering
apartments equipped with kitchens, alongside shared amenities such as a
swimming pool, fitness centre, Turkish bath, and internet access.
Wytze van der Berg, Vice President of International
Operations for EMEA at BWH Hotels, said the property had made steady progress
since joining the SureStay Collection and noted continued support from the
brand.
The apartments are fully furnished and serviced, catering to
leisure travellers, business guests, and longer-stay visitors. Facilities
include meeting spaces, an on-site restaurant with multiple dining areas, and
outdoor spaces used for small events.
Heri Heights is managed by Trianum Hospitality, an
independent hospitality management company operating across East Africa. The
firm has 15 years of experience managing serviced apartments, boutique hotels,
and vacation properties.
Mutheu Muna-Mwaniki, who oversees the SureStay partnership
for Heri Heights, said the collaboration has supported operational efficiency
while maintaining service standards aimed at improving distribution and
long-term asset value.
Trianum Hospitality marks its 15th year in operation in
2025, with a portfolio spanning hotel apartments, boutique hotels, and vacation
homes across the region.
