Students at Moi University main campus want road fixed

Students from Moi University, Main Campus have decried the bad state of roads leading to the institution.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, students urged the authorities to address the matter.

The students want the earth road from Talai Centre to the university’s main campus in Kesses renovated.

“The poor state of the road leading to the university is worrying. The rains have made it unbearable for pedestrians and motorists alike,” a student said.

The ongoing rains pounding various parts of the country have compounded the situation.

“We access most of the essential services at the centre. With the current state, movement becomes difficult,” another said.

Bodaboda operators plying the route increase fares during the rainy season, with students and locals bearing the brunt.
