Probe launched over mystery death of CDF worker in Kimilili

The deceased's son, Bradly Kipchori, said he got news of the death of his father David Kipchori from a neighbor on Wednesday.

However, circumstances leading up to the death remain scant.

Another neighbour said Bradly told him a neighbor had found his father lying dead in his compound and he accompanied him to the scene, where the body was found naked.

Confirming the death, area Nyumba Kumi chairman Maurice Nyongesa raised the alarm over rising cases of deaths in the area during the festive season.

He called on the authorities to beef up security in the area.

David's colleagues at the CDF office expressed shock, with project manager Martin Khaoya eulogising him as a person who performed his duties well.

He called for a speedy investigation into the death.
