Narok: Traders count losses as fire razes business premises in Kilgoris

Traders in Kilgoris, Narok County are counting losses following a fire incident.

The inferno razed property of unknown value, leaving behind a trail of destruction.

The night fire spread to adjacent houses that the traders had rented for their families.

A spot check by Citizen Digital showed several business premises reduced to ashes.

A bar, clothing store and a hotel are among establishments that were gutted down.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established. Residents have however urged the county’s fire department to respond swiftly to calls for help.

Meanwhile, police officers based in Narok have launched investigations into the incident.
