Similar complaints have been made by residents of neighbouring Kianjau, Kiandige, Ndembe, Giconjo ,Gatitu-ini and Kanjuu.
Mary Wambui, a resident, said the monkeys destroy crops and attack women.
"They have become a menace of unprecedented magnitude as they keep increasing and ruining our homes as they look for food," she said.
Angry residents led by Kanjuu village elder James Njoroge said even after using dogs to chase them away, the monkeys still invade their homes and farms causing family disputes after eating food meant for families.
"They are causing family disputes in this village as they are eating our food... we thought our wives were not cooking, only to realise that food was being eaten by the monkeys," Peter Murimi said.
Residents want Kenya Wildlife Service officers to intervene.
