A family from Bumini village in Mumias East constituency in Kakamega county, is in distress after their daughter went missing in June this year.

Susan Wambui, 20, who is a third year student in Bungoma, was last seen on June 8 at around 9pm near the office of the deputy county commissioner in Shianda, where she was attending a training session.

Her phone went out of service soon after.

DCI officers have said investigations are underway to try and trace Wambui.

According to her family, Wambui got along with many people and was not known to have quarrels with anyone.

The family has pleaded with anyone with information about their daughter's whereabouts to contact them or report to any police station.
