Attempted cow theft ends tragically at Kisii farm

Police in Kisii are investigating an incident of attempted theft reported at ATC Dairy Farm in Kionganyo village, Kisii County.

According to a police report, the incident occurred on Thursday night when thieves tried to steal a cow from the farm.

The suspects reportedly attempted to push the animal through a metal opening in the perimeter fence.

The attempt, however, failed after the cow got stuck in the metal bars and later died at the scene.

The matter was reported to Kisii Police Station, where officers visited the scene and recorded statements from the county askaris as investigations continue.
