Dubbed the ESO Empowerment Collective, the initiative includes a nationwide ESO Publicity Campaign aimed at highlighting, supporting, and amplifying the impact of ESOs in driving entrepreneurship and innovation.
ASSEK CEO Mercy Kimalat stated that the initiative will provide expert insights, networking opportunities, and strategic guidance to help ESOs and startups flourish.
“The ESO Empowerment Collective is designed to unite ESOs and entrepreneurs by fostering collaboration, sharing success stories, and providing valuable resources to drive business growth,” Kimalat said.
The ESO Publicity Campaign will showcase outstanding ESOs from ASSEK’s 150-member network through site visits, media features, case studies, and digital storytelling. The campaign will cover key regions, including Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nyeri, Wajir, Lodwar, Kajiado, Kitengela, and Kilifi.
“ESOs are at the heart of Kenya’s innovation and economic progress,” Kimalat added. “Through these initiatives, we aim to elevate their work, foster collaboration, and attract investment and policy support to strengthen our entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
The campaign will also feature media engagements, startup showcases, and stakeholder forums to increase ESO visibility and recognition.
