Ulinzi sink Lakeside to win KBF regular season
The Warriors started slowly, losing 11-14 in the first quarter but came out guns blazing in the second, the soldiers winning 26-18 going to take a 37-32 halftime advantage.
Lakeside again fought back to win 18-15 the third quarter before the homeside pulled away with a 28-20 fourth quarter performance.
Ulinzi head coach William Balozi says they could not afford to underrate lakeside.
“They defeated us in the first leg and we couldn’t take the game lightly. We really pushed as we wanted to finish at the top of the table as we look forward to the playoffs and BAL Games,” Balozi said.

“Kisumu came out strong but I am glad we won and topped the table. Looking forward to defending the title as we head to playoffs,” Mutioro said.
